When I consider your works, how can I despair?
When I consider the human capacity for evil, how can I hope?
When I consider the joy in my life, how can I despair?
When I consider the suffering in my life, how can I hope?
When I consider the bauty everywhere, how can I despair?
When I consider human stupidity, how can I hope?
It seems I bounce back and forth between the two paddles.
But I think Hope will prevail.
