Bumper Speaking

A. Unabashed Pacifist:

Do not forsake me, oh my darlin’ Eirene.

B. Unabashed Christian:

Holy One,

There is some discipline involved in these conscious moments with you, but that merely enhances the satisfaction, and it seldom crosses my mind that I’m practicing a discipline. I simply enjoy sitting with pen and notebook in hand, waiting to hear what you whisper in my mind. Always it is something fresh to my ear. Always it sparks a new idea, a surprising turn of phrase, an unusual perspective. I cannot dream of comprehending your infinite creativity, so why do we seem to try to put boundaries on that?
Amen

C. Un-quoting Jesus:

“My kingdom for a camel.”

[Not one of the temptations, so He never said this.]
