I think I’ll take it slow today. You say slowing or shutting down or lying fallow occasionally does wonders for our spirits. You provide wonders for us all the time, but it helps if we prepare ourselves to receive them. So I imagine Isaiah did not say only “Here am I, send me” but also at times “Here am I, feed me.”
