Make peace part of the daily news report. We might be surprised at the response.

Holy One,

We deserve neither blessing nor trouble. Both happen. I pray for humility in the former and patience in the latter. When I see others’ circumstances, I pray for generosity in those who know the former and for advocates or those who know the latter.

Let none doubt your graciousness in giving life. Let none presume to judge your wisdom in creating life, nor deny that you desire the best for us as we make choices in the tapestry that contains all life, visible and invisible.
