How can I live without you?
I could try, I suppose. I could live without any particular images of you. But that would not make you disappear.
I might avoid connecting to any religion or any spiritual group or read any religious literature. But you would still be active in my life.
I could deny your existence, violate your moral and natural “laws” or trample on the rights of others, even destroy much of life on Earth. But even that would not make you go away or erase my need for you.
I cannot live without you, even if I try.
Your mothering love does not give up on me. You will always offer the possibility of abundant life, even if I convince myself that I live on my own.
