A. Unabashed Pacifist
From Platapi For Peace:
We may seem odd, but our passion for peace is as strong as anyone’s. Without it, we odd ones do not survive.
B. Unabashed Christian:
Holy One,
How shall we relate to a divinity who died? It’s unheard of! It’s not reasonable! It’s counter-intuitive!
How could you die like that, like a revolutionary? What did you hope to accomplish? The divine dominion? We’d rather it be for forgiveness of sins.
But that’s too easy for you. You have been doing that forever. Bring on your dominion!
Amen
C. Un-quoting Jesus:
“I want you for a Son-beam.”
[Not what He said when He saw the cross on which He would hang.)
D. Blog: At the End of the Line
At the end of the line, I’ll look for peace on the subway walls.
At the end of the line, I’ll find a hint of love in someone’s eyes.
At the end of the line, the train will pause for passengers going the other way.
At the end of the line, I’ll know how to find my way home.
