When Did We See You...?

A. Unabashed Pacifist:

As for me and my house, we choose peace.

B. Unabashed Christian:

Holy One,

When we saw you hungry, we established a commission to study the scope of the hunger problem.
When we saw you buying your family’s clothes at a Goodwill store, we applauded trickle-down economics.
When we saw you in prison for selling drugs because your education led nowhere, we rallied behind the “no child left behind” slogan.
When we saw you homeless and swamped with debt, we pointed out that the market fundamentals were good and resilient.

What do you mean by “outer darkness”?

Amen

C. Un-quoting Jesus:

“On second thought, Satan, I’ll take dominion over the nations of the earth. What’s a little bow to you in exchange? I can save the world for democracy.”

[He did not succumb to that temptation...]

D. Blog: On the Bumper

- U.S foreign policy: we’ll bomb that bridge when we come to it

- Break the chains! Shop at independent stores!

- Keep your rosaries off my ovaries

- Where are we going? And why am I in this handbasket?
