The traditional Christian marriage vows could apply to your relationship with us quite well. As the book of Job showed, you remain our God no matter what our circumstance may be. You remain our God when some want to turn from you in their despair. You remain our God when some want to turn from you because of their good fortune. You remain our God when some would turn from you in the face of death or loss. You remain our God even when death would part us, because it cannot.
