A. Unabashed Pacifist:

How come I never heard the church say “Save another Commie for Christ”?

B. Unabashed Christian:

Holy One,

“The future looks grim.”
“The future looks bright.”

Could both be true?

I might decide to eat, drink and be merry.
I might decide to follow the bright path.

Yeah. That one.
Amen

D. Blog: On Sainthood

So, what we call sainthood comes about when societies lack the will to exercise compassion enough to correct injustice?

So, if societies took care of their poorer members, we’d have no reason to designate individual saints?

So, societies and their religions create saints because they don’t take care of their neighbors?

I think I get it. When the saints go marching in, a lot of us will watch the parade…
