Sometimes your presence evokes great fear. You could obliterate me, after all. While an easy familiarity makes me comfortable with you, I cannot presume to “know” you. I can speak of my experience of you, but I cannot define you. We humans should hold onto the image in the Raiders of the Lost Ark movie, where your presence is a terrifying force for good and against evil. And pray that we know the difference between the two.
